NOVA in Practice

How We Tested, Managed, and Safeguarded Our Antimicrobial Coatings

In NOVA we developed next-generation antimicrobial coatings – and we also made sure they can be tested realistically, assessed for safety, and documented transparently. The short articles explain key pieces of work from the project in an accessible way. Each text is based on a project deliverable and shows what we did, why it mattered, and what we learned – from studying whether particles can be released during everyday use, to developing more realistic antimicrobial test methods, to organising research data so it stays secure, traceable, and useful across the consortium.
